| The Brentwood Thunder 14U won their age group in the Franklin Baseball Club Early Bird tournament at Jim Warren Park over the weekend, joining the Casey Atwood 13U team in a Mid-State sweep of the tournament.
The Thunder lost their opener to the Hendersonville Heat, 4-2. They came back to defeat the Fayetteville Xtreme 7-4 and followed that with a 9-6 win over the Lexington Hurricanes. In the championship game, the Thunder outscored the Heat 10-6 to avenge the opening loss. |
