Chris Conn (Brentwood Bulldogs) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball for the University of Evansville. This summer will mark Chris’s third season as the Bulldogs’ starting shortstop. He was also the starter at short for the Brentwood High Bruins in 2001. This past January, he was honored by the Nashville Old Timers as its 17 year-old NABF Player of the Year.
“Over the past two years, Chris has distinguished himself as one of the premier shortstops in Tennessee”, said Bulldog Manager Greg Sirko. “The offer he has received from Evansville is one of the most substantial offers made to any position player I’ve coached. It is a true reflection of Chris’s hard work, dedication to fundamentals and personal character. I believe he will make an immediate impact at Evansville and that his future in baseball is very bright.” Congratulations, Chris!
