| The Goodlettsville Warriors took 2 straight from district rivals to clinch the Dixie Pre-Majors District 3 title. Strong pitching and hot bats guided the Warriors to a 17-2 victory over the Goodlettsville Rebels on Friday. Then in Saturday's game host team, Greenbrier, was held to a pair of runs. That 8-2 victory punched the Warriors ticket to the Dixie Pre-Majors State Tournament in Adams, TN. A state tournment win there will guarantee a spot in the World Series in Thomasville, AL beginning July 28th. |
