| Matt Ridings earned a victory over Oklahoma in his first career start and the freshman was subsequently named as the first Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week for the 2007 season. The right hander followed up that accomplishment the following Sunday by knotching another win over Xavier. Ridings allowed only four hits and one unearned run while striking out seven in six innings of work for the 13-1 win. He is currently 2-0 on the season. |
