Caralisa Connell picked up the award trifecta over the past week. The talented freshman was named to the 8AA All District Basketball Team and later earned a spot on the All Tournament Team as she led the DCA Wildcats to a second place finish in the District Tournament. Her 15 point production led DCA to an upset over top seed White House to advance to the Region as the 2nd seed. The 5'8" center then scored 20 against Marshall County and added 14 against Upperman to earn a spot on the 4AA All Region Tournament team.

Julie Towers signed during the early period with the University of Connecticut. Over the past three years, Towers has earned multiple honors including being a three-time All-Sumner County Team, three-time All-Middle Tennessee Softball Coaches Association First Team, All-District 9AAA Team, All-District 8AA Team, two-time White House High School Most Valuable Offensive Player, and The Tennessean Newspaper’s All-Midstate Team.
 Kenzie Roark
2/26/2007 Pitcher of the Week

High School:   Mt Juliet
Kenzie Roark signed with Virginia Tech during the early signing period. The right handed pitcher was named second-team all-state in 2006 as a junior after leading her team to a state runner-up finish. She was named the MVP of the district tournament and went 16-2 on the season with a 0.68 ERA and 99 strikeouts. With the Xplosion last year, she went 25-5 with two saves, pitching 182.0 innings with a 0.39 ERA and 259 strikeouts. After helping lead her team to a 2006 Music City Hits 18 and under title, she was named the tournament MVP and garnered the Best Pitcher Award.
