RoughRiders Start the Season Strong

The Tennessee RoughRiders opened the 2008 season strong with doubleheader wins against the Mavericks. Pitching and defense was solid, as Coaches Carden and Owen gave short opportunities to most of the RR pitchers, warming them up for what is stacked up to be a challenging summer. The RoughRiders bested the Mavericks in the first game of the doubleheader 14-0 and again in the second game 7-3. Although no home runs in these two games, doubles were abundant in addition to a triple by Brandon Farley. All-in-all a great start for the Riders!
